T-Bill (Treasury Bill)

Treasury bills are zero-coupon US government securities maturing in one year or less, considered the risk-free benchmark for dollar-denominated markets. Tokenized T-bill products from Ondo (USDY), BlackRock (BUIDL), and Franklin Templeton (BENJI) have made Treasuries the largest tokenized RWA category on-chain. T-bills also serve as the primary HQLA backing for stablecoin reserves under the GENIUS Act.
